Without even one ingredient or one letter, your dessert turns into a desert. Each member of this team has added their own flavor and God is making a wonderful dessert. The first step was the mixing of the dry ingredients. Our first few days we were measured scooped up and poured into the bowl. As with every new adventure, you have adjustments that have to be made to get it just right. During the registration process many students were shifted to meet their individual needs. Many times this can be hard on the teachers, as students are coming and going, but this team made it look easy.

The students have been thirsty to learn English and to learn who we are. So begins the adding of the wet ingredients. As we wet their appetite for English we begin to share our lives. The best way to get to know them has been through the journals. Many great conversations have already begun. We also spend time with them after class. Each night the students have been staying later and later. It really is the makings of a great dessert.
